Fujitsu Button Utilities is a small Windows companion tool for select Fujitsu laptops that enables and customizes the device’s special hardware buttons and Fn hotkeys. It works alongside the system’s hotkey/ACPI drivers to provide reliable actions and on-screen feedback for tasks like adjusting brightness and volume, toggling wireless, switching displays, launching the Assist/Eco functions, and assigning user-defined shortcuts to programmable buttons.

Key features:

  • Maps Fn keys and dedicated hardware buttons to system actions or apps
  • Provides on-screen display notifications for brightness, volume, and toggles
  • Offers a simple configuration panel and background tray service
  • Integrates with OEM hotkey drivers for consistent behavior

Notes:

  • Intended for supported Fujitsu notebook models; not useful on non-Fujitsu devices
  • Typically requires related Fujitsu system/hotkey/ACPI drivers and a restart after installation

Guys,

Please don't update this software. I've had bad experiences with it.

First, I updated the Fujitsu Button Driver (without uninstalling it first). That didn't give me any problems. Then, I updated the Fujitsu Button Utilites (again, without uninstalling it first). That did give me problems.

Every time I logged into my computer, it would give me an error message, and the Fujitsu panel wouldn't pop up.

The only thing that fixed this error was uninstalling both drivers and reinstalling them from the CD.
